Razor-sharp Santoku knife with ceramic blade from EmperioZani by Serafino Zani. Ceramic is harder than steel and therefore stays sharp longer. In addition, ceramic knives cannot rust and do not give off a metallic taste, which prevents food from discolouring.
EmperioZani ceramic knives are made of Zirconium and Obsidian (volcanic material). The hardness and hygiene are enhanced by the mirror polishing.
This Santoku knife is versatile. The Japanese name stands for the ‘three virtues’, or the three functions of the knife: cutting, chopping and slicing meat, fish and vegetables. The knife is perfect for fine and decorative cutting and is lightweight.
