HAY Chisel Lounge Chair walnut with sheepskin

The Chisel Lounge Chair is designed for HAY by the Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker and is a contemporary yet timeless take on the ever-relevant moulded plywood chair. Chisel is named after the classic carpentry tool and is created from the desire to design a solid wooden chair with a distinctive silhouette that stands the test of time. Thanks to its compact size, the chair is ideal for use in most homes and public spaces, from living rooms and bedrooms to waiting rooms, lobbies, and libraries.

The Chisel Lounge Chair is available in a wide variety of wood types, colours and front upholstery options.

Materials
Seat and back: 10 mm moulded plywood shell, glued and screwed to the base.
The core of the seat and back is made in beech, with the top veneer in walnut.
Base: veneered plywood core with solid wood edges on legs.
Lacquer: water based
Black felt gliders are mounted on the legs.

Skins are naturally unique and variations in colour shade and wool character are likely to occur

The sheepskin upholstery is also available in combination with the other wood types.
