In honor of the Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024, Tattoo King Henk Schiffmacher designed the Dragon Plates for Royal Delft. A set consisting of three dragons: the Water Dragon, the Tribal Dragon and the Blue Dragon.
The plates can be used alone or as a triptych on the wall, with the largest Water Dragon plate as centerpiece.
The dragon zodiac sign belongs to people born in 1940, 1952, 1964, 1988, 2000, 2012 and 2024.
The combination of Delft Blue pottery and tattoos is perhaps not instantly obvious, but both have more in common than you may imagine. Similarities can be found in origin, meaning, craft and mastery.
