Like many prominent twentieth-century architects and designers, Charles and Ray Eames also expressed their ideas about colours, shapes and materials in the design of textiles. The Dot Pattern was made in 1947 for an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and is a reference to the abstract paintings of Ray Eames in the 1930s.

Soft throw of 100% Merino lambswool, made in jacquard weave with decorative fringes at both ends.
The colours of the front and back are reversed.

Merino lambswool is made of high-quality natural fibers coming from the first shave of Merino lambs. Not only is it very light, fine and soft, but it also provides optimum wamth.
